FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers

What makes coffee low-acid?

Not all coffee is created equal. The origin of the beans, growing conditions, processing methods, and roasting process all influence the acidity of the finished cup.

At Bean Hollow Coffee, we believe great coffee should be rich, smooth, and enjoyable. We carefully select our beans and develop our roasting profiles to bring out their best natural flavors while creating a balanced, satisfying cup.

How fresh is my coffee when it arrives?

Freshness makes a difference you can taste. Unlike coffee that may sit on store shelves for months, our coffee is roasted in small batches with freshness in mind. Every bag is carefully packaged to help preserve its flavor and aroma.

Our goal is simple: deliver coffee that tastes the way freshly roasted coffee should.

Should I order whole bean or ground coffee?

For the freshest flavor, we recommend whole bean coffee whenever possible. Grinding your beans just before brewing helps preserve the rich aromas and flavors that make freshly roasted coffee special.

Don't have a grinder? No problem. Ground coffee is a convenient option that still delivers a great cup. Simply choose the option that works best for your brewing routine.

How should I store my coffee?

Keep your coffee in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. For the best results, store it in an airtight container and grind only what you need before brewing.

We generally recommend avoiding the refrigerator, since moisture and odors can affect the coffee's flavor. Fresh coffee is best enjoyed within a few weeks of opening.
